Welcome! Here is a comprehensive tour of our Product Design specialization course. Classes begin the day you register. However, you can also start whenever you wish even after enrolling into the program as long as you defer with permission from the academy’s authorities.
Phases
This program is made up of 2 phases:
Phase One – UI/UX Design
This phase is made up of 3 sessions:
- Beginner Session
- Intermediate Session
- Advanced Session

Phase Two- Brand Identity Design
This phase is made up of 2 sessions:
- Beginner Session
- Advanced Session

Upon completing both phases, made up of 5 sessions in total, you will be awarded a certificate of completion in Product Design, UI/UX design and Brand Identity Design. That’s 3 certificates in total.
What will I need as a student?
- A laptop or desktop computer
- Internet connection
- You will need to be on Telegram where you will be mentored in our exclusive groups for the course.
- Figma for the UI/UX Design phase. You do not have to download this application since it is web-based as well.
- Photoshop (versions from CC 2017 to 2021 will be fine) for the Brand Identity Design phase.
- Adobe Illustrator (versions from CC 2017 to 2021 will be fine) for the Brand Identity Design phase.
Curriculum
Please note that all assignments/projects are mandatory. Students who successfully meet this requirement will be awarded a Certificate of Completion in UI/UX Design.

- This is a flexible but in-depth session where each student will be creating a set of 6 UI samples throughout the session. This is meant to help each student become truly employable as a result of their ability to apply their skill to any industry. There are 2 bonus chapters which are not required for graduation/certification.
Phase Two- Brand Identity Design

- Here we explore the meaning of brand identity design, brand, branding and how branding has been used over the course of history.

- - Fundamentals of Adobe Photoshop
- - Fundamentals of Adobe Illustrator
- - What are the various elements of design: shapes, colors, layout, images, lines, etc.
- πΒ Design Principles
- We will explore the individual principles of design e.g. contrast, repetition, Gestalt's principles, etc. With these, we can put the elements of design together to effectively define our brand visually.

- - Brand story (vision, mission, product/services, character/voice, and target audience)

- Conceptualization (style scapes, moodboards, and research - competitors analysis)
- Understanding the concept of deliverables

- You'll be taught how to create systems that guide all parties involved in promoting your clients' brands.

- Learn how and where to professionally showcase your skills in brand identity design.

- This is a flexible but in-depth session where each student will be creating a set of 13 Brand Identity Design projects throughout the session. This is meant to help each student become truly competent in handling real-world projects.
